Grangemouth High School Library

The school library is the hub of the school- it is for everyone! It helps support Curriculum for Excellence for both teachers and pupils, provides teaching space through a computer suite of 28 computers, houses careers  materials, and provides a bright and welcoming space for everyone.

What can I do in the Library?

  • Read! Books, E Readers, Large Print books, magazines, Books in Polish, Lithuanian, Hungarian and more!
  • Listen! MP3 Audio Books and on CD
  • Use computers! Do your homework, research, find jobs.
  • Join a club! Book clubs, comic club, raise money for endangered species and more
  • Chill! Get away from the hustle and bustle of school...

The library is open:

Monday to Thursday

8.00 - 1.05pm. 1.20pm-3.30pm.

Friday 8.00- 1.05pm. 1.20pm - 3.15pm

We are closed at interval.

 

 

What you can borrow:-

S1-S3: 2 books for 2 weeks

S4-S6: 4 books for 2 weeks

What happens if I bring a resource back late?

You will not be charged a fine! If you return a book damaged- or lose one- you will be charged cost of replacement!

Can I take books out for the school holidays?

Most certainly you can!

TUESDAY:       every 2 weeks.S3 S3PWRB Book club 

WEDNESDAY: every two weeks S2 Bookworms club!

THURSDAY:    Chess and Wari/Bao club

FRIDAY:          S1 Book Club!

Our Librarian/ Yoda Mrs Anne Ngabia MBE. I am in the library currently every other week, as I am shared with The Braes High School. On the weeks I am not here Library Assistant Sandy Hagen presides!
