The Lighthouse is our schools nurture and wellbeing facility. It is a safe, respectful, nurturing and inclusive environment where our young people receive support. Grangemouth High School is a nurturing school which promotes the importance of talking about our feelings and asking for help and receiving support when required.

The Lighthouse team provides support to our young people for reasons which can include: 

 

 

 

• Anxiety
• Low mood
• Bereavement
• Self-harm
• Suicidal thoughts
• Low self-esteem/low confidence
• Stress/feelings of being overwhelmed
• Family and friendship issues

The Lighthouse Support Team work in partnership with our schools pastoral teachers and school based councillor (Lifetrax).
