The Advanced Higher Music Technology course allows for a great deal of personalisation and choice.  Pupils will choose an area of technology that they have a specific interest in - this could be advanced foley and sound design techniques in action films, advanced sound production techniques in modern rock music, advanced mixing techniques in 21st century pop music etc.  Pupils will then complete a research project, exploring and experimenting with a range of techniques.  The skills developed during the research will then be used to create a their own project.  There is no exam at Advanced Higher level - the folio and research project is worth 100% of the final grade.
