Who we are and what we do!
The Parent Council at Grangemouth High School is a group of parents / carers who have young people attending Grangemouth High School.
Our aims are to:
- Work in partnership with the school team to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all
- Promote partnership between the school, its pupils and all parents
- Develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils
- Identify and represent the views of the parents / carers
- Encourage and support fundraising activities for the benefit of the pupils
We meet 6 times per school session, with the Schools Senior Management Team, to discuss topics important to us such as School Improvement Planning, forthcoming school initiatives and parental engagement strategies. We also participate in the appointment of Senior Staff when required.
We are actively looking for new members from August 2025, so if you’d like to be involved, follow us on Facebook ‘Grangemouth High School Parent Council’ or email grangemouthhighpc@gmail.com for further information.
