In Pupil Support we are committed to providing appropriate and targetted support for young people at Grangemouth High School, providing proactive and co-ordinated support to help learners overcome barriers to their learning. We have an inclusive community and our structure is designed to provide a high standard of support and care for our learners to allow them to strive to achieve their goals. 

In Pupil Support:

• Learners should feel safe, healthy, nurtured and included within the school and our departments.
• Learners will be given support and strategies to take responsibility for their own learning. 
• Staff collaborate with cluster Primary Schools to support transitions.
• Staff work with outside agencies to support individual learners or groups of learners. 
• Learners with a recognised need on the Staged Intervention Framework have the opportunity to attend tutorials in small groups.
• Pupils attending will be allocated a key teacher responsible for co-ordinating their support plans.
• We provide a holistic approach to support learning.
